Walk in the park!

I stopped writing a different blog post to go outside and take a nature walk! And I am in the park now.. dark secret: I brought my LPS with me too. (,,･`∀･) i’m looking for somewhere nice to sit. But every time I sit, I go.. ”Oooh that place looks even nicer..” And I get up! So, I guess that’s what a walk in the park constitutes. If someone tells you that something was as easy as a walk in the park, maybe it was a little trickier than they were letting on! Maybe it was kind of tough because they couldn’t find the nicest spot to sit and enjoy the ecosystem.    

There’s a protected ecosystem area on the walk to the park. To be honest, I liked to look at it more than I like being at the park! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ I was thinking about the kind of animals that would’ve lived here before we did. Like dire wolves (real ones, that are closely related to jackals), ground sloths, mammoths, western camels.. I was thinking about western horses and bison eating sagebrush, and short-faced bears looking for honey…    

   

I like the park but I kinda wish it was more eco-friendly.. i guess? Well, it’d be hard if there was sagebrush everywhere. (ง ´͈౪`͈)ว It would be really hard for modern humans to roll and play in. And I love to roll and play. I just don’t really like the perfect lawn, perfect perfect perfect. It’s really samey, and it’s probably very expensive and takes a lot of water to maintain! ｡･ﾟ･(ﾉД`)･ﾟ･｡ although it’s hard to imagine a park that would be eco-friendly but still fun to actually play in… Well, that’s kind of a lie. My puppy used to go to a dog park way up in the mountains. It was really beautiful!!! But.. hard to explain! I haven’t been in years.. (´༎ຶ۝༎ຶ) But there was a nature trail, and lots of room for the dogs to play, but it was all natural.    
 

I like the park, but I’m thirsty, and hungry. I was going to bring a pear, but I couldn’t fit it in my pocket! (This isn’t Animal Crossing!) Maybe I should bring a backpack next time, but I like to explore without anything on me. I’m gonna climb a rock now!!! Can’t do that with a backpack, can ya!?    

And so, the 0.2% of rockclimbers in the audience began to shake their fists at me…            

   

 

WOAH, there’s something really cool behind this rock! It’s some kind of rock-shelter with little divots or cupiles in it, like a golf ball. That’s cool! These are replicas of artifacts from the native American Luiseño village that lived here before. That’s so cool!! I was so focused on animals that lived here before, I didn’t even stop to think about the people who were here before. And a weird guy is staring at me through the fence, and then came into the park; so if he approaches me I’ll just pretend I don’t speak English. ( ج_ج ) HAHAHA    

 

 

But this caught my eye, too. What do you think? I personally like the whimsy thing the most.. I imagine it was done by an artist kid or teen who was just feelin silly.. How many awesome looking things have you drawn just being you?    

   

An old man came with two dogs… A jack russel girl, and an older looking chihuahua with a white face named Rocky. He was playing with a tennis ball with the jack russel, but she kept getting distracted! And Rocky.. well, Rocky was barely coming. He kept yelling ‘Rocky.. Rocky!! ROCKY!!!’.. but nothing! Finally, he… played a scale on his harmonica..?! Both the dogs came running!! Now he’s sitting on a bench, playing harmonica, and both dogs are sitting nicely and watching him. I’m sitting on a rock not too far away… enjoying the sun, enjoying the breeze, enjoying the music, enjoying the dogs.. I’m glad I came out today. ( ՞ټ՞)    

   

I’m wondering when I should come home?… Probably soon, so I can eat and drink. but I enjoy out here a lot. (◔‿ゝ◔)ʃ I’m gonna put my phone away and imagine for a bit.
