Something Like a Migratory Bird? (๑´ڡ`๑)

Hi friends ... selamat pagiii!! My blog is... 'done'? It's presentable! It works! I can put my blogs there!! But she just needs some work... well, I think it'll be kind of tough to maintain, but I can get used to it. It's the sort of thing that gets to its best point as I keep working at it, just like the rest of my site. (*´ω｀)o  Bulletins on spacehey are kind of hard for me to do ...

Speaking of SpaceHey, I think .. maybe .. I am possibly .. not concerned about it at all anymore. Even as I go on today, there's gore - and it's going into the recent layouts section. （＾～＾；）There's no sign of it letting up, or anyone cracking down on it in more severe ways... it's like a huge game of wack-a-mole. And the community has become hostile ... People say 'they can't IP ban people, that isn't in the spirit of the old internet!' but... it kind of is, isn't it? I just sort of think of IP bans as a safety measure more like, they don't have to add tracking and algorithms on top of it.. Besides, over 10 years ago I would get IP banned all the time for being a little pest. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡ The really terrible, totally unconvincing emails I wrote to staff are a testament to that!!! I think it needs to be implemented if your entire site suffers as a whole due to it.

Part of me creating my website was because I wanted what I have on SpaceHey without the stress of... what is basically social media. ( ；｀ヘ´) I can maintain a website, I can socialize, I can do what I want, etc.. and there isn't really much connection with the rest of the people on Neocities unless I choose to! There's no stress.. There's also a prioritization for creativity on Neocities. (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و Sure, we are encouraged to do what we want with our profiles, but it seems like sort of an afterthought compared to what most people do on here. Which is fine for some people, but I often feel limited. (*μ_μ) Most people also use a layout and never build off of it. Or they never use SpaceHey to hone their coding skills.. which was a BIG HELP in creating my website on Neocities!

On Spacehey, there's drama, bigots, gore, and a sort of Twitter/Tiktok-esque crowd .. (￣▽￣*)ゞ I came here to escape the aspects of what I don't like about the modern internet. And on Neocities, I can get away from all of that.. I engage when I want to, with who I want to - and if I see someone cool, I can get to know them! Of course, the old internet wasn't perfect. It was pretty bad and inconvenient a lot too. But there was a sense of unity I miss that just isn't here anymore. (￣ω￣) When the Internet was newer, it was sensationalized how we can talk to everyone and be connected - but that ability never went away?! If anything, it's gotten stronger!! So it feels these days most everyone has lost a sense of joy and whimsy when it comes to the online world. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡ But maybe I just sound old!! I don't use TikTok, reels, YouTube shorts... I'm out of the loop, and I like it like that.

You don't really need to be 'in the loop' in terms of trends or humor etc... Some people think you need it to stay afloat socially, but let me tell you .. a true friend will never care if you're cringe or not, or if you have a similar taste in humor, or if you don't know what the flavor of the week is on TikTok. My best friend only adjacently shares interests with me, and we have a huge difference in vernacular since there's about a 50 year age difference between our parents. (´ ∀ ` *) But we're BEST FRIENDS!! All my friend groups mesh and blend pretty well because I choose to be with nice and nonjudgmental people .. the yuckies weed themselves out in time. That's life sometimes..

I'm going to keep using Spacehey so I can post bulletins (the same ones as on Neocities), I don't want to abandon it .. but, as for social aspects, I think I am done with it ... (＠＾◡＾) So, you know where to find me! My DMs i can't really rely on anymore .. there are more reliable places to talk with me if you wanna be friends! I don't bite!! I love love LOVE making new friends online.

If you don't have one already, i think it's definitely worth considering making your own Neocities...

(But... pocchi... that's easy for you to say...)

I think a lot of people think I'm some kind of HTML Warlock because of how my page looks, but, like.. it's a STRUGGLE.. A STRUGGLE!!!! I can't imagine my code is very clean either because I'm not very literate, I just know vaguely what does what .. and sometimes that's enough!! I'M NOT EVEN BEING HUMBLE. I .. I HAVE A LOT OF HARDSHIPS.. ｡ﾟ( ﾟ^∀^ﾟ)ﾟ｡ If you know me, I'll often ask friends for help, and then the problem in my code is the tiniest or most obvious thing.ever.... What I'm trying to say is... if you're reading this, you're on Neocities, or Spacehey. You think you don't know anything about html!? You most definitely do!! And building your own corner of the internet isn't about being as proficient as anyone else.. it's about learning! I was only able to learn because I dared to customize my experiences online. (°ロ°) !

... so, um.. yeah! Join me and let's run directionless into the digital wilderness and start a life for ourselves okay!? (ﾉ´ з `)ノ You can make quite literally anything you want .. that's it. Yayy!
