selamat pagiii!!! TODAY WAS THE COOLEST EVER!!!!! 
So my friend Insan has been planning on this crazy performance at his high school’s talent show.. so.. obviously I had to go!! ( ꇐ₃ꇐ ) I CAN’T JUST NOT GO!!!
It was fun but scary… I had to take a Lyft, and I’m kind of scared of Lyft! I’ve never used it from home before!! I opted for that service that will usually pair you with women more often.. and thought.. phew.. don’t need to worry about being alone in a car with a dude..( ´ ~ ` )ﾝｪ… Well anyways, shortly afterward, I scheduled the car and the driver was immediately a white older dude. ( ºﾛº)
Well thankfully it was fine.. I was mad but it was really no big deal! He complimented my name and said… gesticulated.. motioned.. that it just seemed to evoke this sunny, warm feeling.. that everything will be okay. So I felt really happy!! I want to always feel like that!! Most of the ride was super quiet thankfully, I love a driver who will happily let you sit in silence while the radio goes… I was listening to the radio, it was a little depressing.. hearing about workers unionizing and the corporations nonchalantly saying it will not affect Christmas sales as if that matters, about the genocide in Gaza, about that guy’s victory… well, I tuned most of it out. I started to get sleepy, the car was very warm on a cold day and smelled like coffee, and the way we were going drove past this beautiful lagoon I’m fond of, so I felt pretty at peace.. 
We talked some at the end of the ride because.. he couldn’t figure out how to get in the school parking lot. …:(•ㅿ•｀): And, hey, I couldn’t either. I’ve never been here before guy.. I was talking about why I was visiting, he asked where I’m from, then about the culture compared to California from my hometown.. I was talking about how the population of other black people was really different, and how in my graduating class in elementary, there were only three white kids, and the rest were literally anything else. Then I explained that my mom is black.. and he said.. “but you don’t look black!”
And I was like.. ahaha… well.. I’m mixed and I have anemia.. :((; ‘ᾥ’ ;)): wanna see my mom..? I dunno, it was the first time I’d ever heard such a micro aggression! It’s always the thing I always told myself growing up as a self-insecurity, but something no one had ever told me.. UNTIL NOW!!! But it didn’t really bother me.. just caused me to make a big imaginary sweat drop. But my therapist, when I told her, she was like “WOW!! WHAT THE HELL!!” (¯―¯٥) So yeah. I don’t know it didn’t seem in bad taste, just confusion.
SO ANYWAY!! I got to the school.. It was so big and beautiful and confusing.. There were seagulls everywhere.. I had to walk so long across campus.. and then when I saw Insan, he was running like crazy!!! More like jogging in an attempt to cover all that ground… I was so grateful he came, cause the school was so big, I thought it’d be easier to find the check-in.. ((( ꒪₃꒪︎︎")ゞ So yeah! I went to go sign in! It was so weird! I felt so adult.. signing into a school as an adult visitor.. that’s crazy! It was just embarrassing, because they printed a sticker using my ID, which was me when I was about ten or eleven… ( ´ ~ ` )ﾝｪ… And also the visitor pass that got printed out was super dark and grainy, and it looked horrifying… so it was.. USELESS! BUT FUNNY!!! here I took a picture of it on my 3DS..
So first Insan lead me into the theatre where a lot of kids were practicing, someone was at the piano and there was a girl on top singing a long.. everything was so discordant but beautiful and really inspiring.. also, damn, it was SOOOO BIG IN THERE!!!! EVERYTHING WAS SO BIG.. BUT.. IT WAS SO BIG ( 'ω'; 三 'ω' ;)" After a while a lady told everyone who wasn’t in the talent show to go wait outside, so I was standing in the lobby by myself. I couldn’t help but feel a little.. mysterious… ( ; ˙꒳˙ ) Here’s this random senior no one has ever seen before… With her.. little kirby bag.. and her.. pom pom purin keychain.. and.. is that a Higurashi WTC keychain too? (No one thought that because if they did I suspect they’d be even weirder and cooler than me). But really no one bugged me. I was sitting on my phone and texting our mutual friends while stinky, huge, high school boys barreled past me and screamed at each other. Lots and lots of gay jokes. o_o High school boys really never change! They remind me of teenage bull elephants. Stinky and loud and play too rough, most of the injuries an elephant has on the ears are usually because of roughhousing with other boys in his teens.
so erm eventually we were allowed in! I got to sit in the front, muahaha.. the show was really cool! Lots of really talented people!! At some point, a group of a lot of kids came up and the tallest boy in the group was one of a few on guitar.. But he was really anxious to start the performance!! It was clear it was really difficult for him, so the crowd started encouraging him and being really sweet and we all cheered so loud once he finally got the hang of it!! ( ｰ̀֊ｰ́)و♡ At the end, he fell to his knees and looked really emotional, and his whole group hugged him super tight! It was really touching.. there was a pair of girls behind me and one went ‘he’s so cute!!’ to which the other went ‘i know, right?!’
Honestly, I’m a little short on words for the peak of the show (disappointing, I know)… I was so stoked when Insan’s group (Makes Sense) came on though!! LIKE OH YEAH!! THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS!!! I recorded it on my 3DS!
But, um, yeah, I totally cried, and then at the end I screamed so loud lol ( 'ω'; 三 'ω' ;)" I was so proud of him!!! So yeah, after that, he ran down to see me and we talked and laughed a lot and I hugged him and said I was so freakin proud!! CAUSE I WAS!!!!! We watched the rest of the performances together basically until it wrapped up. (⸝⸝- -⸝⸝) We met back up after that, and he played another song for me with his teacher!! (who was also on the performance iirc?) It was awesome!! I met his folks too but it was kinda awkward BAHAHA
So, yeah.. Campus was HARD to get off of, which was mildly concerning.. since my ride was coming ( ¯-¯ ) But no worries..! We snuck back behind the stage and went out that way and he showed me the way out.. I was bummed to have to leave so soon!! But I still had a blast!!! We took some pictures and then had another hug .. then i was OFF!!! Oh my gosh.. This is such a housebound girl thing to say, but I felt like I was in a video game running around this unfamiliar town, like I’m in Persona or something.. >_> (It would be helpful to always have the current time and date in my peripherals, though).
ARGHH BUT THEN I KEPT REALIZING I WAS TOO FAR OR GOING THE WRONG DIRECTION FROM MY PICKUP SPOT!!! I WAS RUNNING AROUND AND PANICKING!!!!!!! And then I finally found the right spot.. and watched my Lyft drive past me. (._.`) She drove down some random residential street at the very end of it, and the app was like SHE’S LEAVING IN 5 MINUTES!!! So I totally panicked and ran some more! But it sucks so bad getting in someone’s car when you’re hot and out of breath..

Closing thoughts? A really fun day… (¬∀¬ ) My Lyft drivers were both sort of backwards old people, but I guess I was reminded that some people can have totally different opinions or thoughts that, even if they’re misguided, they aren’t always from a place of cruelty… so.. ya! That’s my thoughts! AND GO STREAM MAKES SENSE!! YOU GOTTA! YOU JUST GOTTA!!
